Party Weekend: Volume 2

I'm tired/awake/cold/full/hungover. I got back early this morning from Point Reyes and don't exactly know how to describe the last 24 hours.

Firstly, Greg and Amanda's wedding was beautiful. From the ceremony on Limantour beach to the party picnic at Heart's Desire. The food, wine, beer, music, speeches and everything were really lovely. I don't know how I ended up smoking a cuban cigar or how the harmonica ended up in my pocket, but I'll take them both as omens of a good time.

Besides the wedding, I've had several good moments in the last 24 hours:

  • Riding a motorcycle this morning on winding hilly roads with mist still rising from the grasses and marshes.

  • Enjoying a couple of beers with the locals at Vladimir's bar late last night.

  • Breakfast at the pork store this morning, with The Cult's "Sanctuary" playing over the radio.

  • My friend vidog making a very towelie proposition at 10:30 in the morning.

Life is good.
