Ad Feedback

In the spirit of letting sites know when they go too far, I emailed SF Gate this morning to let them know the Blackberry Pearl ad on their home page was very annoying. It's one of those ads that expands when you rollover it. The web advertising industry seems to think people will tolerate more and more intrusive ads, it is up to the users to let them know when they go too far.

I also sent an email to Research In Motion to let them know what I thought of their ad. So far, I've only heard back from the person at SF Gate I emailed. She assured me the relevant people will be provided my feedback, and that she had the same negative experience with the ad.
