Growing up I knew today as All Souls Day, a catholic day to remember those who have passed on to the next life. The first time it meant anything to me was when I was 6 or 7 years old and had lost my "Nana", Kathleen Crowley. In the past couple of years I've also had to say goodbye to my uncle Brendan, cousin Charlie and Auntie Mer. Nowadays I feel sadness for my loss and the loss of all the people who loved them. But I'm happy for those who have actually moved on, if there is a chance at a better existence then I'm sure they are a part of it.
