Firstly, Greg and Amanda's wedding was beautiful. From the ceremony on Limantour beach to the party picnic at Heart's Desire. The food, wine, beer, music, speeches and everything were really lovely. I don't know how I ended up smoking a cuban cigar or how the harmonica ended up in my pocket, but I'll take them both as omens of a good time.
Besides the wedding, I've had several good moments in the last 24 hours:
- Riding a motorcycle this morning on winding hilly roads with mist still rising from the grasses and marshes.
- Enjoying a couple of beers with the locals at Vladimir's bar late last night.
- Breakfast at the pork store this morning, with The Cult's "Sanctuary" playing over the radio.
- My friend
vidog making a very towelie proposition at 10:30 in the morning.
Life is good.
