I sparred with a bunch of people yesterday, most are from my school or the oakland wing chun school. One highlight was stopping Manny(a very big and strong guy) from taking me to the floor and getting away from him, but that took so much energy I sopped the bout early so I could rest up. Sparring with Jasan was great too, he's short and fast, attacking low and moving around a lot. He popped a right hook in my left eye, but other than that I felt pretty good working with him. I also managed to get in some good kicks to the torso against many people, not striking with any force of course.
The goal next time will be to spar without getting bruises painted on my face. I also want to learn some new kicks, I'll probably have to look outside wing chun for that.
