Please Vote For Me

This is the most interesting election campaign I've seen in a long time.

Eight-year-old children compete for the position of class monitor in the first school election of its kind held in China. Aided and abetted by parents and teachers, the young candidates reveal the nature of democracy in a rapidly changing country.

The child who brought gifts for everyone won the election. You have to wonder how much that impacted the outcome.
