I was having breakfast Saturday at the Pork Store and had just finished eating when I heard some yelling. I thought it was just some extra loud customer and ignored it. Then a few seconds later I hear something going on right behind me and turned to see this tall dirty street guy push one of the waitresses away from him. I jumped up, grabbed the guy and told him he needed to leave, then turned him and pushed him towards the door. He half stumbled and I held onto him until he reached the door where a female police officer was approaching. I left him with her, she had backup outside.
I eat at the Pork Store regularly and feel protective of people who live or work in my neighborhood. I'm glad I was there to help, and the staff appreciated it also.
