Twisted Ankle

It was a fortunate night, nobody really got hurt. My twisted ankle was a result of taking care of business.

So, I'm hanging out with friends at the Buddha Bar and in walks some guy. He steals the bartender's cigarettes so I call him on it. Then he proceeds to insult me, but I let it slide cause he seems a little wasted and generaly not very smart. I keep an eye on him and a little later he gets in a scuffle with another patron, I get up off my stool, the bartender runs around and starts pushing him out. Then he starts fighting with the bartender and I step in and throw the guy to the floor. The bartender is my friend so I really wanted to make sure he didn't get hurt. We let the guy up and push him out the door. He starts threatening people again and some big guy shoves him in the chest and knocks him on his ass. The guy moves on, finally.

In the end I twisted my ankle up throwing the guy to the floor. It hurts pretty good. I do feel satisfied for stepping in and making sure nobody got really hurt. It's the closest I've ever been to a bar fight, feels weird. I like how I was in control of things, but I don't like the unpredictability of the whole situation.

CTB? I don't know what the means, but it is the same initials people sometimes use for my home town, CastleTownBere.

TCB = taking care of business (phrase you used in the post).

I don't know if Elvis coined the phrase/abbreviation but at Graceland you can buy little tchotchkes with the TCB/lightning motif on them.

Nice work!

You obviously didn't go to college in Thunderdome, I mean, Boston.
